Circuitry Man Trivia

Steven Lovy, the Director, was only 23 years old when he made the film. He graduated from UCLA film school and sold the script with the help of his Student Film titled... you guessed it, "Circuitry Man". It was a 20 minute short film that won him the honor of the "Harve Bennet Spot Light Award".

In 1994 a sequel was made, "Plughead Rewired: Circuitry Man II", featuring adult film star Traci Lords as the female lead, with an appearance by George "Buck" Flower of "The American Scream".

In 1979, Christopher Dennis (Leech) was named one of 12 "promising young actors" in John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 31.
