Trivia, fun facts and more for the 1987 Kids movie starring Ross Bagdasarian Jr., Janice Karman, Jeanette Miller et al.
The Bagdasarian Production logo is spoofed in the "Girls/Boys Of Rock 'N' Roll" number.
Miss Miller sings bits of several songs composed by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. (father of Ross Jr. and creator of The Chipmunks), including "Witch Doctor" and the non-Chipmunks song "C'Mon A My House" (made popular by Rosemary Clooney).
Susan Tyrell did the voice of Claudia Furschstein... In live-action work, she did some films for Andy Warhol, earned an Academy Award nomination for her work in the 70s boxing drama "Fat City", and co-starred in the 80s cult musicals "Forbidden Zone" and "Tapeheads".
The movie, sadly, only did about $6 million dollars at the U.S box office.
