The movie was partly filmed in the industrial town of Weirton, West Virginia, the same town used in 1977’s "The Deer Hunter". Incidentally, nearby Mingo Junction, Ohio was also used for both movies too.

The movie was shot in thirty-five days.

This film was filmed primarily is Weirton, WV and Mingo Jct, OH. I grewup in Weirton, and witnessed alot of the filming of this movie. I specifically remember, a scene in which, a wedding party was leaving a church (3500 block of West St, Weirton), after the ceremony. I do not recall this scene in the film?
