In the original script, which can be found in the book "Cruel Jokes For Dear Friends", the ending was a little expanded, with more dialogue in Penn's final words and Penn & Teller shooting themselves in the head before and after the credits. The "similarities to people living or dead" credit would have had its' own gag as well.
