The producer, Michael Franzese, met his second wife on the set, Camilla, she appears in the big dance number at the disco (Mexican lady on the left). He was allegedly a mobster with the Columbo crime family. After a nice little stint in the joint, he is now a born again christian. He also produced around the same time "Knights of the City" which is a cheesy gang movie.
