Jake and Kristy at Christmas, Jake sliding down the middle section of two escalators and Jake running through traffic chasing the dream girl (Isabel Lorca) in a cab.

Right before Kristy (Elizabeth McGovern) gets her contractions, she is writing a check for "Sunset Foods" and part of the movie was filmed in Sunset Foods Northbrook.

In the end-credit baby name sequence, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd and Matthew Broderick don't technically appear in new footage. They appear in clips from, respectively, "The Great Outdoors" (Candy and Aykroyd) and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (Broderick).
