Go behind the scenes and learn what went on during the making of the 1986 Horror / Occult movie starring Kelli Maroney, Tony O'Dell, Russell Todd et al.

The film's original title was "Killbots" (and the prop makers still refer to the robots that way). This would have made a much better name for the movie, since there's no actual chopping in it.

Director Jim Wynorski provided the voices of the three Protector robots.

Kelli Maroney did most of her own stunts.

Sherman Oaks Galleria, one of the film's two main locations, has figured in a few other 80s' films, including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Innerspace and Commando.
