The place where Aidan Quinn works is the Bleeker Street Cinema (located at 144 Bleeker Street, Greenwich Village).

When Rosanna Arquette is getting her hair done in the beginning of the movie, the location used to film was NuBest & Co; a very upscale salon in Manhasset, NY (on Long Island). The salon was kept exactly the way it appeared in the movie until recently, when they began renovations to update the look of the place. The street address of NuBest & Co. is 1482 Northern Blvd, Manhasset,NY. [Thanks to Damian Wild]
The street Madonna walks down to get to "Love Saves The Day", and where Roberta wrecks the sunglasses cart, is named St. Marks Place. St. Marks Place is a very popular spot in the East Village of Manhattan that attracts new bohemians, punk rockers, artists, and lots of college kids. The street is full of tattoo parlors, restaurants, and second hand shops. Before Madonna became famous she lived quite close to this area of the East Village.
Although most of the movie was filmed on location in New York and New Jersey, the sceens of the magic club and diner were set designs. [Thanks to Mark Campbell]
