These scenes were actually shot at University of Arizona, located in Tucson, Arizona. Google Map
Gilbert and Louis are dropped off outside of the Old Main building on campus. The entire university used to be in Old Main. It now houses some administrative offices.
The nerd's house (the Tri-Lam house) is at 931 North 5th Ave, between East 1st Street and East 2nd Street. It is across the street from Catalina Park. It's about 10 blocks from the U of A campus. It's now the Quaker or Religious Society of Friends Meeting House. [Thanks to Taggart & Sonja]
The Pi's sorority house is now the Catalina Park Inn bed and breakfast at 309 East 1st Street in Tucson. It's a few blocks away from the U of A. Here is a link to the

The park across the street from both houses is Catalina Park, bordered by 1st St to the North, 2nd St to the South, 4th Ave to the East and 5th Ave to the West. [Thanks to Sonja]
The Alpha Betas house is actually the Alpha Gamma Rho house, and it is located at 638 East University Blvd. Here's a link. [Thanks to nimue]
The dorm Gilbert and Louis move into (and are kicked out of) is Cochise, the only all-male dorm on campus. It is actually on the south side of campus, although, in the movie, they walk north to get there.
The frat house that is burned down was actually the Chi Omega sorority house, until they sold it to the UA law school. It is located on the northwest corner of Speedway & Mountain (1145 N. Mountain).
The gym that the nerds are temporarily housed in is the Bear Down Gym. It used to be the men's gym, but is now used primarily for intermural sports. It's name is from a story told about a dying athlete's last words to his team.
'Adams College' is actually The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

The University of Arizona does actually have a huge outdoor fair every year. It's called Spring Fling and is one of the largest student-run carnivals. [Thanks to Allison]
