USC and CSUN Campuses were used. [Thanks to Steve Marshall] -Can anyone tell us more about which scenes etc?
I've found the location where the zombie with the axe gets his head blown off by Cameron. The action takes place behind the building at 14540 Sylvan Street in Van Nuys (MAP), but the cops actually enter the alley from Vesper Avenue before it cuts to that area. Just prior to this the cops shine their searchlight on the building at 14530 Sylvan Street when they are combing the area. [Thanks to PaulH]
