Note that when Lisa McDowell removes her earrings during the subway scene, she throws them down, towards Akeem's feet. Akeem, however, raises his hand to shoulder level in order to catch them!

In the scene when Akeem and Semmi were viewing the apartment, the landlord said it had a view facing a brick wall. But when Akeem steps out onto the fire-escape, he was facing the street.

When Arsenio puts the chicken in the collection plate, Eddie Murphy says what he said to him and I guess it was funny to arsenio cause he started laughing in that scene!!! Hilarious
