I just watched this movie, and I totally loved it. I can't believe it, why can't they make more movies like this one??
I totally believe in fate and destiny and all that...I have said it on here a billion times, how I see "signs" everywhere I go that make me think of the Rewind even.
I loved the whole movie. They did pick the same elevator floor, I would have killed that little kid who pushed all the numbers.
I thought Eugene Levy was funny in this movie, and I loved Jeremy Piven and Molly Shannon as the best friends. Molly Shannon really reminded me of a friend of mine.
I definately recommend this movie. I loved John Cusak in it. I will definately watch it again. I didn't even know I had it on a tape. Someone taped it for me awhile ago and I didn't even know I had it...but "someone" told me I should watch it sometime, and I figured if I ever was in Blockbusters I'd try and remember to rent it, but I am never in there...so talk about Serendipity...that I was cleaning out all my movies and went through them one by one today, and there it was. Didn't anyone else love this movie??
I watched it a 2nd time last night, that's how much I loved it.
I thought it was such a well acted movie too, it totally had chemistry between the 2 main characters and you never see that ever in a movie any more.
I loved it, I'd watch it again. It started out great...and it flowed really well, it never got boring. I don't think it was previewed as good as it could have been. Now, that I have seen it, I wish I would have seen it at the movies.

This is my favorite "newer" John Cusack movie. This movie plays to anyone that believes in Fate and Destiny. The premise is almost whimsical, but if you're a believer...Serendipity will work for you.
I agree that the chemistry between John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale is incredible. And we all remember the hilarious Jeremy Piven from "Lucas" , "One Crazy Summer" and of course "Say Anything". This movie was a pleasant surprise when I watched it.

I just made my mom watch it with me again. I totally love this movie. I think I want the soundtrack to it, because I love the song that is being played, at the very beginning...when they both go back in to "Serendipity"...cause she forgot the bag, and he forgot his scarf...
then I love the song playing when she comes home, and she's opening all the boxes from Lars...I love the rose petals all over the floor in that scene..it is really romantic...
I like even the back ground music in this movie.
The one thing I was confused about ...is how does she think to go to the golf place?? He never ever mentioned that at all when they had met.
I thought it was cool that they both got tangled up in the dog, at different times.
I think that Jeremy Piven looks younger now than he did when he was in Lucas. I really liked his character alot.

I knew this song was being sung by Annie Lennox as soon as I heard it. I can't believe I never heard it before, because it is a really great, now why was a song like this not played a ton on the radio?? It doesn't sound like a new song to me:

This song is an awesome song too...how come I never heard it before?? What the heck is wrong with the radio stations...this song should have been a big hit...I love the words...

Yep, the movie is a keeper. This flick proved why John Cusack is still my favorite actor with these roles he plays. A real charming movie, as I sometimes have wondered "what if" in a certain past situation.

I am a huge fan of this movie. Everything about it is just magical. Cusack is great, and this is what introduced me to the awesome talents of Kate Beckinsale. Definitely one of my new faves.

I tryed to watch it on TV yesterday and I was into the first 20 minutes when I realized I HATED IT! I am not one for "romantic comedies". I watched just cuz I like Jon Cusak...and ...well, I'll just watch BETTER OFF DEAD and THE SURE THING next time I wanna visit with John!

By the way: That Annie Lennox song is a cover of a BOB MARLEY song. Itr's off an album that Annie Lennox did called MEDUSA that featured her doing other bands songs.
