Does anyone remember this movie??

I don't remember much about it, but a friend just gave it to me, and I am excited about watching it.

I just wondered if anyone else was a fan of it??

I liked the first one and a couple of the sequels but then they ran out of good ideas and I stopped watching them.

The Land That Time Forgot was actually part of a series of movies in the seventies starring Doug McLure, all along a similar there. There was a direct sequel called The People That Time Forgot, but very similar was At The Earth's Core, filmed in between the two.

I have all of those movies on DVD. I am a huge Doug McLure fan. He also did Humanoids From the Deep. This is one of my favorite genres. I love the cheesy effects, bad scripts and bad acting that most of them had. That's probably why I love them so much. From a giant rubber octopuss to giant flying rubber carniverous fish to rubber dinosaurs... I've enjoyed each and every one of these films. I think my favorite one is the one with Patrick Wayne (son of John Wayne). I loved when the flying Tyredactly bites and holds onto the tail of their plane.
These movies are just too cool.

I met Doug McLure once - I was at a visitor's event at Pinewood Studios, near London, when they were filming one of these films. I was stood there as he came out of a doorway, all dressed up in his costume and make-up. Shook his hand and wished him well.

Wow, Paul. That's awesome. Three actors who I wish I could have met were Doug McLure, John Wayne & Steve McQueen. I like all of their films.
I loved Warlords of Atlantis that McLure did.

So Paul... what's Pinewood like? I would love to visit it.
