Shame on 70s Rewind for not having Damnation Alley listed as one of their movies. In fact, I would rate Damnation Alley as one of the greatest cult films of the 70s generation.
I have started a petition to 20th Century Fox to get Damnation Alley on DVD, remastered and in widescreen. The link is :
Please tell Fox that this movie should not be lost to faded VHS tapes and illegal bootlegs. Thanks!

"Damnation Alley" is a 1977 post-apocalyptic film directed by Jack Smight ("Airport 1975", "Midway"). It stars Jan-Michael Vincent, George Peppard, Paul Winfield, Dominique Sanda and Jackie Earle Haley and was based on a best-selling book by Roger Zelazny.
The film was originally expected to be a big hit, but production delays and poor special effects doomed "Damnation Alley" to failure, as it bombed at the box office (failing to bring back its $17 million budget) and received mostly negative reviews around the time. Ultimately, the film went on to become a cult classic and was finally released on DVD by Shout! Factory in July 2011.
