Been desperate to track this down as it has a few scenes not in the DVD version. I recorded 2 broadcasts recently, VH1 Classic and IFC, and both were just slightly edited versions of the DVD. Apparently, with the newer more lax rules, there's no need to put all those filler scenes in anymore.

So, does anyone have a copy of this??

I had downloads of the scenes from Youtube ages ago, but they are on a drive I'm trying to have repaired, and until I do they are inaccessible to me.

I saw those clips but I think the best my app would do was download 360p versions. I'm hoping to find something better but even so I'm still not exactly sure where they fit in the movie. I saw a thread from 11 years ago ( don't laugh...) where someone mentioned it was going to be on TBS, I was just hoping maybe someone still had their VHS tape laying around.

You're really not missing much. I remember one scene was with Phoebe Cates and Jennifer Jason Lee talking in the parking garage at the mall.

I'm willing to pay for a copy of the TV broadcast, I want it that badly. Regardless of whether or not anyone feels it's worth it, it's worth it to me. If you have it, please email me.

I think the Youtube versions were pretty choppy anyway. Not sure I ever saw any high res versions of the scenes.

I can totally relate. One of my 'unsolved' movie issues was that the UK video version of Fast Times had a different song at the end of the film, and neither the song or the artist were named on the credits, and I was never able to find out who it was or what the song was called. It sticks in yer craw to not be able to resolve these things!

Ah, but if you have a copy you can always use one of the many song identification apps out there now. If not, then we're in the same boat. SOMEONE's gotta to have a VHS copy they didn't throw out or tape over! [Smile]

I doubt the song identification apps would work. They aren't that good, and when you get too obscure they're useless.

You'll find a copy of the TV version. You just gotta keep digging.
