"A military cadet who happens to be a social outcast taps into a way to summon demons
and cast spells on his tormentors through his computer." (IMDb)

Watched this fun little b-horror video nasty yesterday.
It was directed by Eric Weston who also directed the pretty decent C. Thomas Howell vehicle To Protect and Serve (1992).

Evilspeak stars Clint Howard, R.G. Armstrong, Joe Cortese, Claude Earl Jones, Haywood Nelson, Don Stark
and pretty ladies Lynn Hancock, Kathy McCullen, Katherine Kelly Lang (Delta Fever, Jocks and Brooke from The Bold and the Beautiful).

Howard does a good job as the bullied youngster
but the guys go too far so he summons the evil Esteban (played by Richard Moll).

Clint is coming, like it or not!

See Spooky church catacombs, shower scene, Miss Heavy Artillery competition, cool old school computers and few super nasty kills.

I own the dutch VHS tape and the guy on the cover looks much more like Clint Howard
than the dude on the original poster, hmmm kinda strange.

Recommended for the horror freaks out there.

I enjoyed evilspeak,I purchased the blu ray last year,I had never seen it before,I found it to be pretty entertaining.

I thought clint Howard was really good as the constantly bullied coopersmith or cooper**** as they called him and you definitely wanted to see him get some payback on the school bullies, especially after they killed his dog. [Mad]

The soundtrack http://youtu.be/He1ANIbTtBM added a lot to the overall sense of dread and like atomik said a couple of the kills were pretty hardcore.

The guy that gets the center parting from clint Howard with his sword towards the end springs to mind as one such kill.

Yeah I enjoyed this one and any fan out there tempted by the blu ray I'd say go for it I was pretty impressed with the picture/sound transfer of this one.
especially for a film that is now 34 years old.

Good gory 80s horror fun!

I´m pretty sure someone did [Big Grin] I´m glad that you liked the film, Howard really was a good choice to play the role.
