Like when I say bad.....it can't even stress how badddddddddddddd it is!

But it was very watchable....being i'm 32 and this was my first viewing ever.

Of course I collected the cards....I knew about the movie but somehow I never saw it or fought to see it....it sorta seemed to slip out of my radar? I know it's become a cult movie for sure.

The kids sew clothes! they sew 80's fashion clothes on sewing machines???.........I would have never expected that story line at all.

Tangerine and Dodger??? those are the craziest names to me....maybe more crazy then Windy Winston and Vomiting Violet??? haha

I just found this on a website and had to share because it was hilarious:

Things I learned from this movie
(Blatantly stolen from BadMovies.org)
•In an emergency, flatulence may be used in lieu of both smelling salts and, paradoxically enough, sedatives.
•A Pepsi truck, when properly piloted, is one of the most destructive forces on the planet.
•The most feared gangsters of the 80’s spent the majority of their time hassling 12 year olds for their pocket change.
•Killing people with guns is evil. However, killing them with swords is perfectly acceptable.
•Along with her infamous box (Shut up, you perverts), Pandora also had a trashcan filled with obnoxious midgets.
•Breasts are terrifying.
•The quickest way to a girl’s heart back in the 80’s was to dress like Michael Jackson.
•It’s okay to steal, as long as you steal from non-union businesses.
•It is possible to over-tease one’s hair.
•The 80’s were indeed a dark and evil time.

One more thing I gotta mention....

It has original songs and the score is so weird at times it feels like it was thrown in there last minute....especially the last scenes.........haha but it's so 80's I loved it!

I'd seen it a few times as a kid, then got the dvd the other year and still loved every bit of its sheer awfulness haha [Razz]

I watched this movie again recently after not having seen it in years. I'm not-so-regretful to report that I don't care for it anymore. True I still give the movie props for having the ability to freak me the hell out when I was younger with those freakishly disturbing walking, talking freaks of nature. And I was raised from a young age on old horror/occult movies, so I was not at all easily freaked out or scared. But those "kids" certainly did give me the willies.
So anyway, back to the point at hand. Yeah, this movie has just lost all it's flare to me. Makes me glad I didn't spend the dough on buying the DVD release.

Maybe I'm weird, but I enjoy this one. I mean, I don't watch it all the time or anything, but you know, I'm right there with Dodger - I'd do anything for Tangerine too. And having Greaser Greg around would be pretty cool.

I'd be more interested in watching your reactions as you watch it than actually watching it again. Wait... that sounds really creepy! What I mean is... nah - I'll cut my losses.

I vaguely recall finding the 'sister' character in it attractive.

I'm watching this right now on Netflix...I think this is probably the weirdest movie I've ever seen in my life!

BIZARRE is the only word that comes to mind! LOL...This would be the perfect movie to play a drinking game to (might make it better too!)

So I started watching this...still struggling to make it through to the end, doubt I will! I mean, the cards were good but this is just so bad its terrible. Respect to Anthony Newley who tries to add some gravitas to the proceedings but GPK looks like it was made by someone on the weekend without a script or any ideas whatsoever...

Kate Barberi was a (Tangerine) dream come true, but GPK must've influenced her to quit movies and re-invent herself as a soap opera actress in Mexico!

Any truth to the rumors that this is getting a blu-ray release?

I was a huge fan of the GPK stickers back in the day, and did collect many of them at the time.

The GPK film is '80's cheese at it's best. It's one of the movies that's "so bad, it's good". The GPK creatures looked disgusting, but that was the whole point. I did like the strong '80's vibe re: the fashion, hair, etc.

And, this movie is now available on Blu-ray - since 2015.
