I'm thinking about music videos for movie songs that have cameos from the cast of the movie. Not videos that simply have clips from the movie, but videos with original footage, created just for the music video. I always found them highly entertaining
with Louis Gossett Jr.

Ben E Kings Stand By Me was a strange one. It had TWO of the guys from the movie in it. That always struck me as odd seeing that the film had FOUR main charactors.

Jewel Of The Nile was a decent sequel, but had it flaws! I remember as a kid, always thinking that Michael Douglas looked good in that white suit, with a tan on a red motorbike..... in a strictly heterosexual way of course...
And now he has throat cancer, what a shame. Hope he gets well.

This one!!! This was also a music video but there was a different version. It had edits of their butts, plus some scenes in the movie that involved softball or baseball, make-up rehearsal scenes and shows more dance moves and pivot turning dances.

Holy cow guys, I just randomly saw this video today! I was going to put the olympics on and went past MTV doing 80's videos, so clicked on it. Those three on stage was killer. But not as great as Danny working the sax! Hilarious. What do you even call that Lip Saxing? Sounds dirty! As soon as I saw this video I knew I had to get on here and share. And of course I should have known it has already been discussed.

I can't say I've watched MTV in years, but I have seen a few times that I do have the TV on in the morning that I sometimes run across them playing blocks of music videos from the 80's or 90's. Actually I just looked it up and apparently it was MTV Classic, which I guess I get. May have to pay attention to this a little more! I have YouTube tv for reference.
