I can only remember two parts of the movie. Sorry I don't remember any actors from it. In one scene this woman is food shopping and she puts a package of meat in her cart. You see someone inject the meat with something and then later on she is taken to the hospital. The next scene I remember is someone in a hospital bed starts bleeding from all over. The bed is covered in blood. Does anyone have any clue what the name of that movie is?

I found out from my mom it was about a hospital that was run electronically and someone gets a hold of the controls and starts killing people. It also came out around 1980 or 1981.

Have you checked out Coma (1978) and Visiting Hours (1982) yet? They are somewhat similar to your description, but do not fit it exactly. Maybe worth looking into.

SA, excellent work. I, too, have actually seen this thing. It's a typical Canadian tax-shelter movie from that time with some good actors--Joe Spano, David McCallum, Diane Venora, Ellen Barkin, and recognizable Canadians like Robert Joy and Nicholas Campbell--in an outlandishly goofy plot about a computerized hospital and the employees' death pool with the patients. It is also typically Canadian in that the exploitation elements are way over the top--buckets of blood and gratuitous nudity. All in all, it's not a great movie by any stretch, but an acceptable time-waster on a slow Saturday night.

Hey, can anyone help me with a movie name. My cousin and I have been making a list of our fav 80's movies. I remember one movies that I liked at the time but can remember the name and only a bit about the story now, so if any one can recognized the follow....

It’s a mid eighties film (USA)

The story is about a group of teens, young people. Each of them is in trouble with the law. One is a rich kid (male) whose caught selling drugs; another is a poor male kid (who rarely speaks) living in a trailer park who shoots his violent father (after shooting his father, with his mother screaming in the background he sits on a step eating an ice cream, then hands it to a little girl who sits next to him) There’s a girl and a couple of others kids but I can remember what they did.

Their all facing jail when their all put on to a special project to help make them useful in society. The man leading the project takes them out camping on there first night together to bond. They are told to make there own shelter. One of the larger boys in the group picks on the boy from the trailer park and steals the shelter he’s made. But the kid is bright and has rigged it to lasso the other guy’s leg hanging him upside down which the man finds amusing. There’s lots of resistance then bonding in the new group and the man leading them. They end up fixing up a run down house in a bad area of town. A gang in the area doesn’t like what they are doing and one day when the kids are out they vandalise the house and beat the man who I think ends up being killed. When the group of kids find out what has happened they go out for revenge against the gang.

I think the rich kid and girl end up getting together in it and the boy from the trailer park uses a bow and arrow when fighting the gang.

That about all I can remember of it really. I hope you can help as I’d love to know what its called.
