First of all hello everyone

I am a big 80's fan of everything and movies are a big part of it

Goonies, BMX Bandits, Indy Jones, Big Trouble Little China, The Wraith are some of my favs

I have been trying to find the name of a film I watch in the late 80's/early nineties, I'm sure it was from the late 80's

All I remember is great sounding music as I played it on my Hi-Fi video, it started afaik with this music and the camera "yourself" traveling over water to what I think was a haunted castle, it was like a horror comedy, ghosts n stuff in it and I thought someone famous but could be wrong.

I borrowed the original tape from work that had been damaged by the rental video and the rental company had to pay out.

But I cannot remember the title and can't find it anywhere

Perhaps... High Spirits from 1988?

I don't recall how it starts though.

I am sure that is it, watched the trailer just now and has the water part and seem to reconise some bits...Steve Guttenburg I was thinking Tom Hanks
