Hey folks, this has really been driving me crazy. When I was a kid I watched a movie that I'm fairly certain I saw twice, but all I remember from it are two scenes. Towards the beginning, there are kids (2 or 3) in a small wooden boat at night, and I'm pretty certain this boat ride led them into a fantasy world. And then later in the movie there's this really strange scene where people are sliding down a big slide thing and coming back up transformed, like some are flying out.
I've searched everywhere for this! And it might be 70's, I'm not sure, I just know I watched it in the mid 80's. Any ideas?
