As much as I loved the original from the 80s, Tron is perfect remake material. This one was well worth the long load time.

I just finished watching it. I know we had a big discussion over remakes quality recently, but once again I am hooked. Tron is definitely one of those ultimate "couldn't have been made any other decade" 80's movies! I would have turned away completely, but they got the dude back, el duderino...and that must be respected [Cool]

Okay, that looks awesome. I'm officially excited. It doesn't look like a remake, though, but rather a sequel.

It looks promising...Tron is one of my all time favorite films..so I really hope to not be disappointed.

My bad Journey...You are definitely correct. I even read about it in a magazine (Empire) that it was a sequel and not a remake...having a "duh" moment there [Razz]

Goddamit! Were you born in 1989? Are you a plant from a 'Bring back the 90's' cult? Are you a spy in the house of love? (Don't answer the last question)

Tron has a feel like no other film. Watching it even now can take you back to '82 because nothing since has felt the same. I wonder if someone were to watch it today without the benefit of nostalgia it might seem odd and a little slow (which it is) but in a bad way?

Trailer looks good, though. I just hope they have a decent script to go with it.

I remember seeing Tron when it came out. I was only a little kid, but what a trip! To say that it blew my mind at the time is a bit of an understatement.

I'd be interested to know what you think of it. I think it may be a little too late for you to get full enjoyment from it, but you never know...
