Hello-

Could someone please help me find the names of the following two 80s movies? I searched through all the databases and can't find any movie descriptions that match. I saw them on HBO when I was a kid, but I guess they're not that popular . . .

1) A movie where some older kids find a magic slime (maybe toxic waste?), and when the goo is poured over a picture or magazine, whatever was in the picture comes to life (bulldog, pretty lady, monster, etc). Of course, chaos ensues.

2) This second movie took place at the beach or in California maybe. I skinny dorky guy is magically transformed into a muscular, hunky guy that all the girls love. I remember the dialog of a lady describing what the dorky guy would turn into. . . she said "tanned, toned . . ."

Sorry, that's all I remember, other than that I loved those cheesy little movies. :-)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Second movie could be "Hunk" from 1987.

"Hunk" does sound right.

The first one might be an episode of "Amazing Stories":
