I was watching the clip of Stay Gold, and was thinking how much I always liked this movie.

There are so many movies like this one, that were so awesome.

I liked this photo montage....I thought it was cool that they did it to the song "In the Ghetto"

My favorite scene is definately the shower scene with Sodapop(Rob Lowe).

In 7th grade Reading class, we read a condensed version of the script earlier in the year, then saw some actual film footage (basically from the church scene to Dallas's demise) to compare our acting chops to the finished product.

I think Patrick Swayze played a terrific role in the movie. The fight scenes between the (greasers) and the (socs)were awesome.

Have you both seen 'The Complete Novel' cut of the film yet? All the scenes missing from the book in the original cut have been restored in it. Over 20 minutes. I'm like a stuck record on this hehe but it makes a huuuuge difference, far truer to the book. I have no care for the original theatrical version anymore. Seriously whoever hasn't seen The Complete Novel version needs to do it noooooooowwwwwwww [Big Grin]

Totally agree that anyone who hasn't had a chance to see 'The Complete Novel' is missing out.

Here's the link from our thread from back in 2005 about it......2005 can that be right...wow
