Hi there everyone! Maybe someone out there can help me figure out the name of an 80's movie that one of my friends has been trying to put his finger on. The info he provided me is vague at best:
Two high school students (one girl, and one guy) "take over" their school and lock all the students in an auditorium.
More than likely a movie from the early-to-mid-80s.
My friend said he had a feeling that the movie had a direct-to-video feel to it, or that it seemed like an afterschool special, even though he saw it on HBO in the mid 80s.
My friend also said that the lead girl in the movie reminded him of Andrea Elson, the girl who played the daughter, Lynn Tanner, on the TV show "ALF".

might be "Over The Edge", but in that one it's the parents that they lock in the auditorium, and it's much more than 2 students that take over the school.

are you maybe thinking of the one with jim beluhi? he was a new teacher at the school and came in and kicked butt? good movie forgot the name of it and it was just on cable a couple months ago? brain freeze!! sorry
