I watched it last night, and I loved it...it was really creepy.

I like the one guy in it, so I looked him up on imdb...to see if I had seen him in anything else, and I was surprised to see that he was born in a town in PA that I have been in, and then I was sad to see that he died 2 years ago of colon cancer.

Anne-Marie Martin is in this movie...she was also in Savage Harvest and Prom Night (she played Wendy).

I really recommend this movie. I liked everything about it. I liked the cast...I liked the story line...it is a great 80's movie.

I want to watch it again.

"Boogens, Boogens, you had to let them out didn't ya. Couldn't leave well enough alone, could ya!"

"Boogens" is kind of a forgotten 80's horror movie. I thknk they made a mistake finally showing us what one looked like, much creepier leaving it to the imagination.

I thought Rebecca Balding as Trish was outstanding in this flick.

Yeah...when I saw them...they looked like a giant turtle with squid arms....they were nasty little Boogens. They didn't seem so scary when you saw them...but they were really violent. Some of the scenes, where they grabbed people and drug them away...that creeped me out.

I liked this movie ...EXCEPT for what THE BOOGENS looked like! Everyone makes fun of what the BOOGENS looked like..and they SHOULD. BOOGENS were lookin mighty cheesy! Maybe they SHOULD have just left the BOOGENS to our imagination.

This is a movie I can honestly say COULD do with a remake? Usually I hate remakes and are against them but THE BOOGENS could use some really cool lookin' monsters!

But then again if they remade it we wouldnt have that chick from SOAP in it anymore, now would we!

I feel like watching it again. Is it on DVD I wonder?
