Ok, so I have 2 movies that I'm looking for but I had little info:
Movie #1: a group of kids/teens make a spaceship out of a trashcan and go into space.
Movie #2: a college is taken over by hostages and a group of them plan to overtake their captors; I think one guy escapes but sneaks back in with the help of the military?
So the details are very vague and sketchy, but that's just how my memory is (sadly). Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!

The first one sounds alot like Explorers with Ethan Hawke and River phoenix as kids.
The second one might be Toy Soldiers with a teenage Sean Astin and Will Wheaton.
