Devolution here,

Which one is better, sure, the first one is the original and all, but that doesn't mean that the second one wasn't great in it's own right. Does the first one win because the soundtrack is better?

Decisions, Decisions.

Is the 3rd one in contention at all?

Devolution here,

Come on now, that's like putting Halloween 3 in contention. Great here come the 4 people that like Halloween 3.

I've only seen 1 and 3, so I say 1. Is 2 any good?

I think I gotta go with 1. I love the whole art gallery theme and come on, Bronson Pinchot? You can't beat it! And you're right the soundtrack is awesome...

Number 1 is the best one in my opinion because everything was fresh. Things kind of get rehashed in sequals. The second one was good also and the third one wasn't so hot.

Hey I like Hallo...

The first Beverly Hills Cop is better.
Incedentally, b3ta once ran a compo where you had to add a word to a film title to produce something new, so I did:

I've been listening to 'the heat is on' for days now on my mp3 player, it's the song I play when I leave my apartment

gotta go with 1, the second one was okay too, bu the third one, thanks down there on the 'batman and robin' level. I was in elementary school and saw in in the cinema with a couple of friends... all of us thought it was dumb. rxcept for one guy, but we used to call hime 'beavis'.

I remember seeing a microphone in one shot of bh3, it was a scene shot in the police station.

but the first movie...pure 80s. to quote a few:

would you like a lemon twis?
take those bananas!
f* you, man (the coolest use of the f-word ever)

Gotta go with the original. Last year when I was in Europe, I went to some discos, which is what most Euros seem to do for fun. Anyway, the most popular song while I was over there was some disco version of the "Axel Foley" theme. Hilarious. They had no idea it was from an Eddie Murphy movie.
