In trying to see what we can do to make our site more 'feature-rich' whilst not making it 'bandwidth-poor', I'd like to get some feedback on an idea I've had.....

Friend of mine only got half an image too - then reloaded it and got the whole thing.
And the link to the movie is....? (clue: zoom in a little.....)

That is the location of the Hollywood Bowl and was one of the locations featured in the movie Some Kind of Wonderful. I like the feature and say keep it if it doesn't bog down the site.

For information, what we've done today (well, I suggested it, Nick re-coded the site!) is to add a link to a Google Map for every review we have where we are told of a FEATURE LOCATION (anyone who has ever submitted a review will know what that means).
Check out the reviews for Some Kind Of Wonderful or The Breakfast Club to see what I mean.
