**** Important notice ***********************

Thanks to our fabulous ModGod Paul, the Rewind Award post has been sticky-fied and will stay at the top of the page for a bit.
Because it's now not getting lost among the other posts, I'm leaving nominations open for another few days, until November 22.
Hurry and get your nominations in - you might be in the running to win a ticket to the awards night!

*********************************************

Since award season is fast approaching, I thought it was time we had our own Rewind Awards, or Windies, for short.

Categories cover 80's movies (mostly) with some tv, music and our fellow Rewinders.

Either email or PM your nominations to me, and I'll tabulate them if there are no clear winners, we'll go to a tiebreaker vote.

OK, here we go....

Best line delivered by a male actor in an 80's film.

Best line delivered by a female actor in an 80's film.

Best Bad Movie

Worst Bad Movie

Most Nauseating Actor

Most Nauseating Actress

Worst 80's TV show theme

80's singer you wish was never recorded

Rewinder you would most like to have met in the 80's

For example, here are what I would vote for -

Best Male line - "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" - Patrick Swayze, Dirty Dancing

Best Female line - "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" - Jessica Rabbit, Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Best Bad Movie - Bad Taste

Worst Bad Movie - The Garbage Pail Kids Movie

Most Nauseating Actor - Sylvester Stallone

Most Nauseating Actress - Pia Zadora

Worst tv show theme - Benson (what the hell kind of instrument was that supposed to be?)

80's singer I wish was never recorded - Feargal Sharkey

Rewinder I'd like to have met in the 80's - Isis, the epitome of life in the 80's!

Thanks Stitch for wanting to meet me in the 80's! [Wink]

I just sent ya my choices for your awards...I think I goofed on the TV Show theme...those are actually hard choices to make, kind of hard categories.

Can I win a trip still to Australia??? [Wink] [Razz] [Big Grin]
