Wow......I just ......Wow......
I remember I was staying at my best frineds house when we were about 15..Her father said "You're not watching that "filth"!"

If I think back...FOXES was the closest I can re-play on my teen-hood.

I hope someone can enter a comment showing me I'm not the only one.

I bought Foxes last year on DVD. It was a good movie but dark as hell. I remember feeling tired after watching it. I thought it was neat that Cherie Currie from The Runaways was in it. She did a pretty decent job too. Jodi was cool. She always is!

It's a cool film, a so young Scott Baio and an up and coming Randy Quaid was cool too. Cherrie Currie showed she could act too, I love the Runaways stuff as well. Quite the 70's film, even though it came out in 80. It is pretty dark, this movie would go well with Over the Edge for double nightime feature at a house party. Congrats to Mamamia for surpassing 2000 posts!

Just watched Foxes and it was very good.
Entertaining, funny, sad, touching...

Adrian Lyne is a fantastic director, i have all his movies on dvd.
The cast was great and all did a good job.

Giorgio Moroder´s soundtrack was cool,
well maybe they overused Donna Summer´s "On the Radio" a little bit [Smile]

I loved those Angel concert scenes!
It was awesome to see Gregg Giuffria on stage with that huge keyboard guitar [Cool]
I have 3 Angel cd´s and especially their debut album is pretty good.

Kiss posters, some nice street scenes and Scott Baio with a skateboard.
Recommended!

I just recently saw Foxes for the first time a few months ago-borrowed it from the library. It was different than I thought it would be-back in the day they hyped it as a "bad girls" movie and it was more true to life than that.

Cherie was so that character-it must have been based on her, didn't seem like acting at all. I think we all went to high school with a chick like that!

I consider this more a 70's movie. I didn't know until this thread that it was released 1980. Good, but a bit of a downer.

Yeah, I agree with you, Bamersy, kind of a 70s feel for me too. It was a moving story, yet they managed to squeeze in some hijinx, and there was some good acting to boot. Not too shabby.

Just finished watching "Foxes".. even though I know what's coming, it is still beyond depressing everytime.

Jodie Foster was an incredible actress at such a young age. Cherie Currie was great for having very little acting experience.

I really enjoyed the scenes with Scott Baio and Jodie Foster.

After watching this movie, I feel lucky to have enjoyed such a stable and dependable homelife as a kid. Thanks Mom & Dad
