This was one of the first Rated R movies I ever saw on HBO. I really like it. It seemed like a girls version of Porky's combined with Stripes.

I haven't watched it in so long, I was thinking about watching it again soon.

What did anyone else think of it?

Private Benjamin was rated R? I'm sure in the UK it was only a PG....

It was Rated R. Yikes PG- Paul...the beginning scene she's having sex with her husband and he has a heart attack and dies on her, that was the first movie I think I ever actually saw sex in, even though...I wasn't totally sure what was going on. Between that movie and the scene in Coal Miner's Daughter...(you know the one- [Eek!] ) I was getting the idea...that none of that seemed like fun to me.

Oh yes, Goldie Hawn was the first leading lady to take on the role of Producer and kind of opened the door for other actresses to do the same thing.

It was kind of an older combo of Porky's and Stripes-an all girl version. I really liked Goldie during this time with Seems Like Old Times, Foul Play, and Private Benjamin.

I cannot imagine it having a PG rating because they do drugs, and have quite a bit of nudity and language. Ah, that is why England is so much more liberal than the U.S., because Benjamin got a PG Rating!!! HAHA

Lisa, the opening scene doesn't actually show anything graphic. I'm really struggling to recall any nudity, or anything else that would make it any more than a PG.

It was funny, but certainly not something you'd object to in any way.

Paul I checked around and the DVD of this movie actually rates it as a 15 over here...I actually double checked a VHS copy too (I'm a geek like that) and that was a 15 too.

Funny thing is I remember seeing it on TV when I was younger and not being too shocked by it. Maybe it was edited for TV...

Noms [Cool]
