It's been 3 long years of work (6 if you count that I got the idea in 1999), but finally "A Shermer Christmas Carol" is finished(!). Looking back there's probably some parts I would do over again if I had the chance, but all in all I'm reasonably satisfied with it. If you would like to read this work or if you have been reading it but forgot where it is, the address is:

Best to read it over severa lsittings due to the high chapter tally. I hope you'll find this tribute to some of the 80s greatest characters (and some of the best in movie history, actually) enjoyable. Happy holidays from Fulmerland!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is like War and Peace, you really really need to look at getting that published. I would buy that in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have time to read everything all at once. I am going to add it to my favorites and read on it whenever I can! What a lot of hard work that you put into this Chris. You rock!!!!!!

Thank you, I aim to please. I'll probably look into publishing it at some point in the near future; it's what everyone seems to wish for. Perhaps, if fate smiles on me, I could attract Hughes's support and work with him to nail down the weak spots so it would be perfect.

WOW
I only read parts of it but I can totally picture Del G. (John Candy) acting this part.
You did an excellent job!!
No only do I love John Hughes movies but I live in Northwest Indiana, about an hour away from Chicago. And I love movies made in Chicago since I've been there so many times. I usually think of Ferris Bueller's day off when I'm in Chicago!!
