It's been 3 long years of work (6 if you count that I got the idea in 1999), but finally "A Shermer Christmas Carol" is finished(!). Looking back there's probably some parts I would do over again if I had the chance, but all in all I'm reasonably satisfied with it. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is like War and Peace, you really really need to look at getting that published. Thank you, I aim to please. I'll probably look into publishing it at some point in the near future; it's what everyone seems to wish for. Perhaps, if fate smiles on me, I could attract Hughes's support and work with him to nail down the weak spots so it would be perfect.

WOW I only read parts of it but I can totally picture Del G. (John Candy) acting this part. You did an excellent job!! No only do I love John Hughes movies but I live in Northwest Indiana, about an hour away from Chicago. And I love movies made in Chicago since I've been there so many times. I usually think of Ferris Bueller's day off when I'm in Chicago!!
