Okay this movie from 1986 follows three girlfriends who go to work on a dude ranch after they graduate college. They encounter some issues that really make them face the fact that they need to grow up. This movie starred Courtney Thorne-Smith, Mariska Hagitay (sp?), and Joanne Wilhoite (I know that isn't spelled right at all but it is kind of close). She was also in Just the Ten of US, TV series which was a spin-off of Growing Pains. This really is a good coming of age story. It is one for a slumber party.

Does anyone remember this film? I remember watching it for the first time in the early 90s on HBO.

I rented this movie awhile back, and wasn't really impressed with it, but maybe I would like it now. All I really remember from it is Courtney Thorne-Smith's steering wheel nailed to a tree or something.

Just bought and watched Welcome to 18 and oooh, i liked it [Cool]
I loved the girls and the fashion, even Fuscha the transvestite looked fabulous [Smile]

This was Courtney Thorne-Smith´s first film and she looked great, blonde AND brunette.
Mariska Hargitay was in her second movie and she is hot hot hot.
And what can you say about JoAnn Willette, simply irresistible.

Cristen Kauffman, John Putch (the bicycle cop from Men at Work), Jeff MacGregor,
Brian Bradley and Erich Anderson as evil Roscoe are the co-stars.

The soundtrack is unbelievable!
You can hear music all the time and it feels like there´s a montage in every 10 minutes.
Cheesetastic 80s fun!
