Right...I dunno if you have talked about this before....but ...hands up who loves this film.

This was my favourite film from when I was about 7 (until BTTF took over)...and to this day Jennifer Connely will always be Sarah to me.

I can quote it word for word.... ('nothing?...nothing?....nothing tra la la") ....I can sing all the words to the soundtrack (even thought it's a bit dodgy in retrospect)....and now I'm older...I can appreciate Mr Bowie in those lycra outfits.....ohhhhhh yeah..... [Big Grin]

You are so much like me miss Earth Angel!

Labyrinth is the best! I love the music, love Sarah,Hoggle, and I too appreciate Bowie's lyrca crotch shots(EA I think i've even wrote that on here before).....I always sing and dance to "Dance Magic Dance" you have too! [Wink]

There's a new DVD that has extras.....I need to buy asap!Does anyone already have it?

Also Jennifer is going to be on Inside the Actors Studio tonight I believe......I love her.

EVERYBODY.... [Wink]

"You remind me of the babe (what babe?) the babe of the power (what power?) the power of voodoo (who do?) you do (do what?) remind me of the babe!"

'Labyrinth' is one of those movies I will never forget. It actually scared me when I was 6, at the beginning when Sarah makes her wish... but I can remember that I was soon glued to the screen as soon as Jareth and Hoggle were introduced.

The characters are pure Henson; I'm always loving Ludo, Hoggle, and those firey fluffy orange things with loose heads! As for Miss Connolly.... wooo!! I had my first crush! I also love all the songs.... and yes, I know all the words as muffy admits to as well!

We had some of my family around not so long ago, and I decided to put it on for the lil' ones! They had never seen it before... and my gosh, they demanded for their mother to borrow it! I actually haven't had it back since... but I know they drive her mad with it, as I once did too.

I've said it before on here, but I'm rather amazed that young children of todays generation actually like what I (and many others) grew up with. I expected them to find my favourite movies too 'out-dated' and not as "cool" as 'pokemon' and the other movies/cartoons around at the moment. I'm pleasantly surprised that I can show them everything from 'Short Circuit' to 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure' and for them to demand a repeat showing! You just know I love them for their good taste! [Smile]

another waynes world "good Call" to ya angel! it was definitely one of those good kids films that even when you were young and being a boy you could admit in the playground that it was actually your video and not your younger sisters because everyone loved it!!

its such a good film!they really dont make um like they used to eh? i must say though the guy who wrote it must of been on some form or crack or something though! definitely one for the hippies with acid flashbacks hah!

"Ello! i said Ello! Come On in and 'ave a nice cuppa tea and meat the mrs"

"no,dont go that way, never go that way...if she went that way it would of taken her straight to the castle!"

haha i love it,cokney talking maggots, you rule!

Yay...I had a feeling that Muffy must like this film...coz..well...I do and it would appear that we were separated at birth (haha)

I recently went to see Wimbledon at the cinema with a friend ..and I actually said."the best thing about Paul Bettany is that, apart from being hot...he's married to Sarah from the Labyrinth"...my friend was suitably impressed.......god I am such a saddo!

This movie rocks!!! I remember as a kid I really wanted to rent Gremlins from the movie store but when I explained to my parents the movie I wanted to see was the one with all of the "creatures" we came home with Labyrinth instead. Althought it wasn't the movie I wanted to see I was soo glad we rented it instead. Now I love the movie and I almost think the sound track is better. The music is perfect for making up dance routines for lyrical, jazz, ballet, flag or baton twirling. It is just a great option for something a little different than the usual stuff you hear on the radio.
