Can you think of any film from the 80s that you would like to see a star from today have played? By this I mean if Tobey McGuire were born years earlier don't you think he would have been good in The Breakfast Club as Brian (Anthony Michael Hall). Is there any film that you have in mind that would have a star from today playing a role from the 80s????????????????? Please feel free to take the challenge.

I don't know, but I could see Josh Hartnett as the skater in Thrashin (1986), or as Iceman in Top Gun (1986).

Oh no no no no no! No Ben Affleck! I don't think he haas the right to be in any movies now, much less an 80s classic!

You mean Bennifer. I know, but he is really cute and he was good in Dazed and Confused, Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. I think he is crazy for hooking up with JLO. It may just hurt his career.

Ha ha! Thanks for saving my spelling mistake jlp! I just don't think Ben is a very good actor. I cringe whenever I see him in a movie (except Dazed and Confused).

My sister asked me if I had to re-cast The Outsiders with actors from today, who I would cast. I could scarcely think of any young actors that I like today. Jake Gyllenhaal I think would do a good job as Soda... but I am still stumped on the rest.

The only actors I think are anything good looking, and actually have talent, are all on General Hospital-which I won't watch any more because of bad story lines-has the guys I would pick. If, these actors were given a good movie they could do well. I am talking Ingo Radenmacher, and Steve Burton, and The guy that plays Xander Smith- I forget his real name, the guy that plays Sonny Corinthos, and the old Lucky-their real names aren't coming to me..But, look up General Hospital's website and if you don't watch the show, you'll see some cute guys that should be in leading roles now, not Ben Affleck- I can't stand him, and Jennifer Lopez, is ick. The kid that plays Dillon Quartermaine on General Hospital, is one of the cutest actors to come along, and he would be great in any Outsiders (type)movie or in any teen movie. Check them out, and get back to me, and see if I am not right!
