I actually haven't seen it yet, but my friend was curious about this too. She went on the internet, and found out that the movies aren't too accurate. The evnt itself actually happened in a very urban place(forgot the state [Roll Eyes] ) but it didn't happen Texas. The man was a physco who killed five people w/ a chainsaw, but not as ritual like as depicted in the movies. He WAS caught and is now spending life in prison. i wish I could tell ya more details, but this is all I remember. hope this helps.

The movie was inspired by the case of Ed Gein in Plainfield, Wisconsin...
