Ok I know it's a morbid thing to ask,it's just that I picked up a magazine the other day(National Enquirer i'm afraid) and it had a feature on Charles Bronson being on his deathbed(their words) and then read as though he had died but was'nt specific. It never stated a day or time etc, which is what usually happens when a celeb' dies.I also havent heard anything on TV or seen anything else in print. So...has Charlie gone to the great Michael Winner cloud in the sky to kick some angelic butt,or is he still with us.
If he has died,it's a shame cos' I always liked his action/cop movies.
Oh and I know Michael Winner has'nt died,I was just being silly....and I know this sombre message is'nt the best time to be silly,so don't pick on me for that,I don't have a death wish you know!!

See what I did there....?

Actually, he's got Alzheimer's and is "barely" even there. Pretty sad disease since it's called a "living death".

Ronald Reagan has it also - altho I know there are a lot of people out there who has had family and friends who died of AIDS because Reagan never acknowledged AIDS (even said the word!) while he was president. I for one, do not feel sorry or bad for Reagan at all. I think Karma came back around on him, in my opinion... [Wink]

Part of Smayt Gateford's post:

As I write this, Bronson is still alive (so far), but he doesn't have very long to go.

According to the following newsbit (click below), Bronson is in 80's and has battling Alzheimer's Disease for the past two years, and suffered organ failure in July 2003.

shame on you Devo....oh ok it was funny.
Sad though that Charles has gone.Just last night on UK TV,they showed ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST,i'd never seen it before and I thought it was great.Bronson was excellent in it,rivalled Big Clint in the silent and deadly stakes.
Well,so long Mr Bronson..thanx for the wonderfull movie memories you've left us with...bullet ridden & blood soaked though they may be!!
We tip our woolly hats to you,(well he did wear them a lot in Death Wish 1&2. [Frown]

Wow, just found out as well. A sad day. Death Wish 3 is one of my all time fave mindless action films. After the travesty of DW5 I always kinda hoped he'd make a part six just for nostalgia. Oh, well.

But he made some great drive-in type silly ones: Murphy's Law, 10 to Midnight, Kinjite (making a pimp eat his Rolex, classic).

Rest in Peace, Charlie [Smile] .
