There is something I am just DYING to figure out!! I need to know the name of the movie with the two nerds (in high school) who pretend to be exchange students in their high school. Unfortunately, I do not know any of the actors in it! I know there is a specific scene where the male actors looks into his knife to see that his tan has faded!

I think you want Student Exchange. There are two unpopular kids, who learn that a couple of exchange students (one french, one italian) who were due to visit the school were now going elsewhere. They decide to take their places, so that they could know what it was like to be popular for a while.

Yes, Paul Shrimpton is right and it ws a made-for-tv movie...NOT a movi-movie.
The guy gets his face burned by the tanning bed he buys too....
