Hey guys.

My mum used to read my brother and I a lot of stories when we were kids. She also used to play a lot of tapes to us that had kids stories on them. Not only do I still quote 80's movies all the time but I also quote these stories too.

Anyway there was this story that was told by a guy and it was about a kid called Wilfred. He asked his mother for a magnet and her reply was "maybe for Christmas."

I can't remember if his mother gives him a magnet or not but he gets one somehow and everything gets attached to the magnet like cars and buses etc.

I for the life of me can't remember what this is called but I really want to track it down and listen to it again.

Please help. I would be over the moon if someone had any idea what I was talking about.

Hey Bernie, it must be this one:

A Pocketful of Trouble

It was called "A Pocket Full Of Trouble". Wilfred stole the magnet from school, and ended up pulling a spaceship out of orbit.

Holy ****! I can not believe you guys knew what I was talking about. And furthermore can't believe that you knew what it was called and furthermore can't believe it's on Youtube.

When someone asks me for something I often say "Maybe for Christmas".

Thanks aTomiK and Paul. I give you both equal credit. I really really appreciate it.

I have not seen that one dude but I will check the episode out.

Now back to a Pocket Full of Trouble.

Yah is a retelling of the Grimm's collection. Trippy.

Paul, you were actually familiar with this?

Zigy, yeah I guess so. I had no idea. I only knew it from this children's cassette tape/book series.

I asked my mother when she bought all this stuff. She said it was in London about 1983.
