I know this has been done somewhere before, but I couldn't find the thread and so here we are, with a new game....
We all know the theory - that everyone is connected via friendships to everyone else on the planet using no more than six links (so seven people). It's used in movies to connect every actor living or dead with Kevin Bacon, and it was the premise of a movie starring Will Smith I believe.
The reason I mention it, is that I've been doing some research and I've recognised some fairly short links to people (mainly due to a friend of mine being much better connected than I ever realised). Through my friend Dave, I'm only one degree removed from his friends... Brian Eno, Midge Ure, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Mike Rutherford, the memners of A flock Of Seagulls, Camel, Devo, Aswad, and Clannad - all of whom he worked with as sound engineer on albums - and therefore only two degrees removed from just about everone who worked in the global music industry during the late Seventies and the Eighties.
So go on - what're YOUR connections? If you can map them out, post them here!
