You know they should just make a cinema that plays only '80s movies!

I've just got back from watching it! The cinema had about 30 people in it - most of them clearly re-living their youth (*cough* like me *cough*). There were quite a few kids too, and they seemed to need the lavatory a lot (go before the movie!) But they were kids rather than teens so I didn't feel any impulse to ethnically cleanse them.

My feelings about the experience can be summed up thusly:

My friend said, "What do you think?"
I said, "I think it was like watching a film I know really really well on a much much larger screen."

I enjoyed it, but I may have enjoyed it even more if there had been more people in the cinema.

It looks like it's only gonna be on for a week, so shake your tail feathers if you wanna catch it!

hmmm im going tomorrow Logan...im not sure what to expect really. Maybe one has to really get into the mood of bttf, i dont know. I can imagine it would be better with an 80s atmosphere, people talking about the 80s etc

See... there was no real 80's atmos where I went. The outside of the cinema was surrounded by scummy teens all clinging onto each other and texting in preparation for their roles as the future unplanned parents of Britain.

The sound was really loud on the movie (I think it might've been turned up a bit too much). But I actually liked that, because you got to hear things you never do on TV. The reverb on the opening when he's turning up all the speakers was great!

I was pretty tired when I saw it, though. Also, my friend was depressed because we'd just bought a hot dog / Maltesers / Minstrels and it had come to £12.50! Water would have been £2.20! What a rip!

Sat in the Odeon Telford, as I type, at mo only me and my wife in here. Hopefully more will join us, just wish they would play some 80s music and old 80s trailers to get us in the mood. May not feel like the 80s but if you are a true bttf fan, I think you have to do this if there Is one near you.

Well went to the cinema Saturday night with my Girlfriend to see BTTF,she is a massive fan have to admit what a weird experience it was.The cinema was pretty full which gave a decent atmosphere and the people seemed to be enjoying it as it got a laugh in all the right places.Have to agree a lot were my age so just reliving their youth i guess, the digital print was great the clearest i have ever seen the film and the sound was cleaned up nicely to.The strange thing about it and i have seen someone else mention this because we have all seen this film so often i didn't get the same sort of level of enjoyment out of it i thiught i would. But all in all a good experience as i don't think i will get to see it on the big screen again.
Also one last thing something that got a few laughs out of people was how stoked he was about the truck and video camera when they just look ancient now.
