John Hughes was an 80's legend: The short montage I've cut here isn't the definitive Hughes by any stretch, just a selection from my favourite films.

So here it is, hope you all enjoy it.

Man that was great, the song blended nicely with the film scenes !!! The guy in the beginning looked like a target employee. [Smile]

That's Jim Dodge from 'Career Opportunites' a Target employee by circumstance...

Jim Dodge: The truth of the matter is, Dad, I resigned--I'll tell you something else: I had no idea the job was gonna be a hire/fire situation.

Custodian: Are you a slacker?
Jim Dodge: No...Presbyterian actually.

I just found out a book about the films of John Hughes was published last year.. Just thought i'd let you know.

 -

John Hughes ; A Life In Film

I don't own it myself (yet), but here you get a pretty good idea of what's inside the book :

Seems to be a well done career overview, if you ask me. [Smile]

I just noticed the tagline for this book (according to the pic in my original post) says :

,..the genius behind Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club, and the 1980s Brat Pack..'

while the front cover of the book in that Youtube video clearly states the following :

,.. the genius behind Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club, Home Alone, and more..'

Oh well.. [Big Grin]

The book is 33,99 here in Holland.
