I think we had a thread on this a few years ago but I got thinking about it again after hearing a song I always (now deliberatly) sing the wrong words to... in "Bette Davis Eyes" I used to think Kim Carnes was saying "All the boys think she's a spaz, she's got Bette Davis Eyes"!

And of course there's the old classic I drive my partner crazy with - The Gogo's "Alex the Seal"

In Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana"...I was fairly young, but for some reason, in the chorus, instead of Dirty diana...I thought he was saying...so take a gander [Confused]

I swear in Simple Minds' "Glittering Prize"....., at one point Jim Kerr sings "do you remember flatulent pain?"!!!! [Big Grin]

I always thought AC/DC's Dirty Deeds they were saying 30 thiefs and the thunder chief.

There's a joke version of "Dirty Deeds" that goes "Dirty deeds done with sheep".

Ewwww. Or perhaps Ewe...

Ever listen to AC/DC Highway To Hell lyrics?

The third line

Living easy
Living free
"Season ticket on a one way ride"

When you listen to this, I swear it sounds completely different. My friends an me could not believe that they got away with saying this lyric back in the 80s. Now I know what they are really saying I get it, but at the time it was crazy.

Listen to this song again and tell me what this line sounds like to you:
"Season ticket on a one way ride"

My sister is the master at screwing up lyrics to songs. The one that had my laughing to hard I had to pull the car over was to a country song from a few years back. It had a line about Don't Forget to Check the Oil. And she thought it was Don't Forget Chucky Boy!
