I have just finished reading this book and will be watching the DVD tonight (can't wait).
Anyone else seen it? Hope it's as good as the book? (which I couldn't put down).

the book is a thousand times better. the movie is honestly mediocre but i still like it. i would rate the movie 6/10. after you see, you'll know what i mean. are you going to read the rest of the series?

I still haven't gotten round to watching the film yet. Definitely tonight. It's usually the case that the film isn't as good as the book. (With the exception of some Stephen King films).
Yes I have just started the second book, hopefully will be as good as the first. (Hopefully less corny lines - lol).

haha the second book is a hard one to get through. but has a great ending, IMO.

Well I was pleasantly surprised by the movie, I think they did a really good job with it.
Although the guy who played Edward was a bit wooden, not very good casting I think.
I am 1/4 of the way through New Moon - so far so good.

OH my god im so sick and tired of hearing about twilight. all my friends love it and im sure its a great movie n great story but i just get so annoyed when people become obbessed n then thats all you hear.

I wouldn't say i'm obsessed with it!!!!! Just a very good book which I really enjoyed.
I haven't got posters covering my walls or calling myself Mrs Cullen (lol)etc. Although my husband and kids would probably think i'd gone mad if I did that.
It's only a story :-)

haha, very well said princess. i love the series and am a fan but it is only a story.
