I just got free Showtime for 3 months, because we just realized that Direct TV has been charging us for a year for a DVR recorder that we don't even have....so they are sending us one, and gave us free Showtime ....to make up for that...there's like nothing ever on Showtime-so I'd never keep it....but 3:10 to Yuma was on, I am thinking about watching it. Has anyone seen it?

I've only seen the original with Glenn Ford from 1957.

It was OK but I was a little disappointed

I've seen the new one. I thought it was very good. But it has Christian Bale--you don't like him do you?

I don't like him as Batman, and I think he's wound too tight in real life, but if he would do a good acting job in a different kind of movie, then I would pretend he was someone else...isn't that what acting is all about?

I watched it. I kind of liked it. But, I thought it was actually kind of boring. I didn't think the acting was bad...infact Christian Bale was way better in this than as Batman. I was falling asleep at the end, but I saw the very end, and it was kind of like Taxi Driver to me...it left you questioning what you thought the outcome was. With both Russell Crowe's character and Christian Bale's- you could assume 2 different outcomes.

Watched 3:10 to Yuma yesterday.
I liked the cast and the overall feel but the screenplay couldīve been much better.
The characters made too many stupid choices and i kept thinking why why why [Smile]
Donīt recall ever seeing the ī57 version.
