Oh yeah I've seen this one. It's an okay movie, nothing outstanding. But if you like scary movies check it out.

The remake was ok (too much CGI - performances were fine), the original was great.

I liked it a lot, it was pretty creepy. Lili Taylor was terrific, and even Owen Wilson was bearable.

Anyone remember that crap that was overly hyped and unfortunately released to theaters called White Noise? The Haunting reminded me of that. Hyped for months and called the scariest movie in a long time. After both movies, I left the theater wanting my time and money back........

Yeah, White Noise was pretty bad. There was a straight-to-DVD sequel to it, also.

A Haunting in Connecticut looks good. Wonder if it'll be disappointing though?

We won't know til we see it. This should be pretty good though.

As far as the Haunting remake goes....I don't think it is scary either. I never think any horror movies are scary. It still had something I thought that made it appealing to me....can't quite put my finger on it. I say it is worth watching.

I've always been skeptical of PG-13 rated horror movies.........

Now, See No Evil is a good horror movie. I quite enjoyed it and actually watched it twice. I think you'll like it! That was See No Evil you caught the end of--it was on Sci-fi last night.

See No Evil was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be rubbish but it was really good fun [Big Grin]

Saw it at the cinema, not scary (unless you're scared by CGI). It was good to see Virginia Madsen, but she only had one scene. This and 'House On Haunted Hill' were mildly divertive, scare free & CGI heavy.
