Who's your favorite villain (or villains) from an 80's TV show or movie?

My most favorite animated 80's villain, out of all the ones I like, is Professor Ratigan. (From "The Great Mouse Detective", natch.)

And for 1st runner-up for Favorite 80's Animated Villain would be Mok, from "Rock & Rule". He's just as awesome as a certain "big mouse"...

My favorite live-action villain is Morris Day (in "Purple Rain").

Favorite animated villain would be Gargamel from The Smurfs.

Alan Rickman in Die Hard would have to be one of the greatest live action movie villains of all time, not just the 80's.

Best animated 80s villain: Ursula from "The Little Mermaid".

Best 80s live-action villain: Christine from "Christine". I know that sounds crazy, being as it's a car and not a human being, but that thing is (bleep)ing scary, especially in the scene where she's covered in flames but continues on her killing spree anyway.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

This is a tough draw for me, but for live action, I'd have to go with Judge Doom. Animated, it's a push between Dr. Claw and The Real Ghostbusters' Samhaine.

The one that I always thought was a little creepy, especially for a comedy film was Vernon Wells in Innerspace. You remember the guy with the detachable hand? He always plays such a great villan!! I loved him in Commando too! "Let off some steam Bennett"

Let's not forget about William Zabka. Don't be fooled by that "You're Alright LaRusso" line at the end of the Karate Kid. Because next time I look up, Badboy Zabka is picking on nice guy Rick Morehouse in Just One Of The Guys. Oh hs's not done yet, Zabka The Badka is dumb enough to mess with crazy eyed Jason Melon in Back To School. Did this guy not watch Christine?

How about those architypal lunatic-sadists, Baron Harkonnen (Dune), and Frank Booth (Blue Velvet)? David Lynch obviously has a very sick sense of humour to bring out performances like these; the Baron tho, really does take the biscuit:

BH: "I want you to squeeeeze, and squeeeeeeze, and SQUEEEEEEEEEEZE!!!!!"

Henchman: "Yes Baron! Ha ha ha ha ha!!"

BH: "Ha ha ha ha ha!! HAAAAAAA!!!! HAAAAAAA!!!!"

Total weirdo/nutjob. Slays me every time!! [Big Grin]

C'mon guys! The ultimate 80's baddie had to be...

Bennett from COMMANDO!!!

Now that guy had serious issues with his sexuality!!!!

Here's the proof...

Bennett spends nearly the entire movie wearing the following outfit:

Leather pants
A black, sleeveless T-shirt
A chain mail vest
A large belt that turns said chain mail into a little skirt
Fingerless leather gloves
A dog chain choker
A flat top
A push broom moustache
A leather belt that he wore around the chain mail vest, making it seem as if he were wearing a skirt.

Noms [Cool]

Dennis Hopper is as bad to the bone as they come in Lynch's Blue Velvet.
