Looks like The Cars have a new album coming out soon and this is their new single called "Sad Song." I like it! Sounds very 80's.

Has anyone heard this yet?

Thanks for posting this Veronica!

"Sad Song" definitely reminds me of some of The Cars older tunes which is a good thing.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this record..being that THE CARS are one of my all time fav bands, I'll be buying it even if it sucks..but it sounds promising as expected.

here's a short sample of another track off the upcoming record.

I still have Heartbeat City on Vinyl, and I like the sound of what I here. I love The Cars, and will definitely get the album That is one band I didn't expect to be releasing a new album, that's for sure.

Got the new CD today...Listening to it right now and I have to say, it really sounds like it could've been released in 1986! I'm liking it a lot so far...

Did Ric Ocasek get off his butt and actually rejoined the group?

I remember several years ago, there was The New Cars, which featured everyone except Ric and Ben Orr (who had passed away), and Todd Rundgren joining in.
