Don't know too much about this duo aside from the unique name. A friend was telling me they were in the Wham video from Wake me up before you go go as backup vocalists before they had their own group. Anyone have their music or tell me if it's worth searching for? I heard that one of the members married Martin Kemp a former member of Spandau Ballet.

I kinda liked this duo when i was a disco freak.

Rip, you are right about the connections to Wham and Spandau Ballet.

Shirlie Holliman went to school with George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley (she briefly dated Andrew). They used to do dance routines together in the early days of Wham! They not only danced, but also sang on 'Bad Boys' and 'Young Guns'. Dee C. Lee left to work with Paul Weller who she married (Weller was very nasty about George Michael and Wham! at the time). Pepsi joined in time to sing on the second Wham! album. They were clearly featured in the video for 'Wake Me Up' and 'Last Christmas', but gradually disappeared from the Wham! videos after that (even though they still worked with them).

I could be wrong, but I think that 'Heartache' was written by George Michael. It's not a bad song. 'Goodbye Stranger' is ok too. George also tried to get another schoolfriend - David Austin - into the charts with the song 'Turn to Gold'.
